1975 film blog post

Sent to Hell is a war movie about 3 brothers, Billy, Joe and Frankie Jones who are three normal brothers who live in Huntington, West Virginia. But little do they know that there lives are about to change drastically, all three of them get drafted to fight in the Vietnam War. But when all three of them are in there first combat battle, Joey the youngest and most innocent brother gets taken hostage by Vietcong soldiers. Now Billy and Frankie find themselves behind enemy lines trying to rescue the brother that was taken from them. Sent to Hell is a 1875 movie because it was during war and had plenty of violence. It is starring Christopher Walken, Harrison Ford, and  Kurt Russel. We chose Steven Speilberg for our director because of his history with action movies and we thought that he could produce a great movie with a lot of action and a greats story. The reason we chose our 3 actors is because they were young and they could resemble 3 brothers very well. For Kurt Russel we wanted it to be his break out film and we wanted to help skyrocket his career. We decided to go with Paramount Pictures because we thought that we could have a little freedom from them to do what we want with this movie. They will let us go through with this great but violent story of these 3 brothers. And Last but not least our main focus was cinematography  and we chose Gordon Willis because of how great he made the godfather look and we wanted that dark and eerie feeling throughout the movie because thats what we thought would keep people on the edge of their seat. All in all, we feel like sent to hell will be a huge hit because it is relevant to 1975 and the Vietnam War and our audience will love the story behind this great movie.
