For my Movies in your Spare time post, I watched Men in Black 3. to be honest I thought this movie was going to be awful because I really did not like the first 2 movies but this one blew my mind. It had a great story line, great actors, and was just a fun creative movie. Will Smith is a top governament Agent who is trying to stop an alien invasion on earth. but to stop this invasion he has to travel back in time to make sure his future partner kills an alien named Boris the Animal. But when he meets his partner from the past he is shocked on how different he is and how much he has changed throughout the years. But when he finds out Boris the animal also travels back in time he must stop him from killing agent Kay and changing history.
One Scene that standed out to me was the final scene. Agent Kay and Agent J are at Cape Canavaral trying to deploy a forcefield around earth so that the aliens will not be able to invade earth. But when boris shows up all hell breaks loose and it is a fight to the death between Boris and Kay. Kay wins the fight deploys the shield and you think the movie is over but when you think here come the credits. Boris shows up and tries to shoot Kay but misses and ends up killing Agent J (Will Smiths) father. but Agent J never knew that this happened so when the camera points out Agent J in the bushes watching this whole event happen you can tell he is starting to realize why Kay changed so much. The ending scene is Agent J as a little boy come out of a car and ask where his daddy is and when Aganet Kay sees the little boy he walks over and explains to little J that his Daddy was a hero and that he loves him so much. and then it shows Agent Kay walking down the beach holding hands with his future partner as a little boy.
The Camera Work in the LAst scene doesnt have anybody say a word but just from the angle at which the camera stands you can tell why Kay changed so much over time. Because he became Little J's Father that day and you did not have to hear anybody explain it.
All in all, i give this movie 9 out of 10 stars. It was creative and had one of the best endings to a trilogy that I have ever seen. I recommend it to anybody that is looking for a fun movie to watch in your spare time.
Nice job, Ricky. I would also go into this film with low expectations, but that's great it ended up being a fun film. Just a little bit more at the end with the cinematic elements. Good job.
