MYST #1

The movie I watched was Fast Five. The movie is about Dominic Toretto and his crew of street racers plan a massive heist to buy their freedom while in the sights of a powerful Brazilian drug lord and a dangerous federal agent. The movie was exciting and creative all at the same time. I am a fan of Vin Diesal and this was probably his best film yet. Comparing this Fast and Furious movie to the others was easy because this one was simply better. The chase scene at the end made you want to go driving like a maniac in the streets of your town.
I know a movie is good when you want the criminals to get away. In this society you usually want the criminals to lose and get caught and thrown in jail but the writer and the director show the movie in the point of view of a couple of criminals wanting to escape that life style and start over. I think all the actors in this movie worked very well together and complimented eachother very well. Thewre were parts in the movie that were just funny and you found yourself just smiling because they were like a family.
The scene I wnated to analyze was the chase scene because it was so entertaining and just when you thought it was all over for Dom and his crew it turned into this exciting chase scene that had every cop in Rio on there tails with Dom and O'Connor dragging a vault full of money throgh the streets. It was just a great chase scene that has a very interesting twist at the end. All in all, I thought the movie was fantastic and I am excited to see the next one that comes out in May.

  1. Thanks Ricky. Good start. I definitely think your review can benefit from more content. Just focus more on specifics. What specifically stood out? Analyze some cinematic techniques. Watch out for grammar too. Keep it up.
